Nina Brink achieved a BA, BA (HONS) and MA at the North-West University's Potchefstroom campus. She is a lecturer of linguistics in the department of Afrikaans and Dutch.

INTERESTS: Afrikaans first language acquisition, specifically the study of the development of meaning and function of a child's lexicon from usage-based and cognitive approaches.
